We

It’s raining …drop in drops… drop by drop.

Each drop like new born baby whining making sounds of me …me…me…

And then they reach the ground precipitated in the soil and shout …”We”

I carry you, you in me

The voices unknown enunciating we

Hindered, paused silhouette of I

Answering quintessential question of why

Mind is what, a monastery of child

Prayers so innocent, yet so wild

Phantom kites flies in fantasy

Flap its wings in rising ecstasy

Kept on each intermittent hair

Suspended silvery, dew drops that stare

Have lost in body a harrow

May be will find it sometime tomorrow

On crossroads of him, you, me and eyes

Enumerated scions full of vies

Is it real? Or is it a veil?

Plastic snow doesn’t melt yet gleam

A bit of you and a bit of me

The smell of soil and pouring ‘we’

Together ‘we’ are rather be

Hands having eyes that don’t see

It is a luminous cry on shadows of eternity

Or perhaps…perhaps an insane serendipity…

lines i liked the best and the graphic is simply amazing…mind sharing where u got it from 😉 ???

  2. Uhmmm…i can easily say that this is one of ur best post.I and another I, but tofgether making the We…Individualistic…and den sacrificing their identities to become a bigger, stronger entity..sometimes which is real and sometimes an illusion..but still it is the WE that matters.

  3. The primary underlying idea in the poem is great. The unification of I’s into we is well done too.
with your poems i always get such a blast of ideas in my head that i dont know what was ur line of thought when u wrote it..why u chose the words and imagery u did .
    Maybe u’d care to explain?

  4. firstly the image is gr8..
secondly the imagery is gr8..as well…

    ME trans mutates into WE…
    Gradually…but surely..
    Surreal yet real..
    Multiple yet unique…
at times they drape in care…
at times they rape in malice..
    till despair, disgust, abomination!!
    But they still remain…
and also ME the integral part of the WE..

    cheers…surely one of ur best

  5. Rashi: thanx rashi..well graphics..i guess got from flikr..thru blog of my friend Hidyn gems..actually i just save any pic i come across which is quite connecting to my thots..:) so have a good database..:)

Akansha: he he thanx mate..still a surface encounter :)..but yet true..i and I make we..n yet they r so distributed

Kaylee: oh thanks so much dear..:)

    Sophiagurl:thank u sis..well i will get back to u..

Phoenix: well why?..the intensity of life’s happenings is too much profound i guess..n i guess when this stops..the words will also stop..n so the imagery..
the idea of this will be like revealing alot about me..but epitome of this is how much divided is the self is..the more i dwell into it the more it gives the feeling of schizophrenic part…may times disintegrated and yet we move in single I.and about the explanation of poem is u say..then i guess this is not the place 🙂

Sweetgirl: good to c u back:) thanx 🙂

Keshi: thanx keshi so much 🙂

    Sneha: thanx 🙂

  6. Contemplating self
    loosing sight
    fighting the “I”
    wanting the “me” to survive
    contemplating still…

the imagination is wild, the words are nearer still…amazing imagination.

  7. Rain brings so many pleasure and memories with it…
And what a co-incidence its raining in delhi very hardly…..
    and am enjoying seeing it…

beautfiful words and ya the pis is just great..

  13. schizophrenia?????????
no not quite that…..[a bit of you, a bit of me][sound of pouring we]
y do we have to complicate reality by calling it schizophrenic?

  14. The smell of soil and pouring ‘we’

    Together ‘we’ are rather be

Hands having eyes that don’t see

It is a luminous cry on shadows of eternity

    Or perhaps…perhaps an insane serendipity…

amazing lines….i keep ocming back to read it….:)
if i get the OST of the bong connection will pass it on..

  15. Insane serendipity it indeed is when the divine epiphanies suddenly manifest themselves and then sit back and wonder whether WE = I or am I just another befuddled schizophrenic .

  16. Shouting for attenttion..me, me, me then merging into a we! amazing lines….
Mind a monastory of a child…beautiful!!! Need i say anything more? Brilliant post.

  17. i liked particulary this part : ” A bit of you and a bit of me

The smell of soil and pouring ‘we’

Raka: thanx so much..yeah please send it my mail id if u get the OST i will b soooooooo greatful to u 🙂

whatsinaname: u every well caught me..left lot of thing unsaid..sa its better that way..otherwise i wld have been jeopardizing the whole meaning of this..while writing this i felt m going some way other ..n then i jst put my pen on hold..
